Welcome to Wimbledon Dolphins Swimming Club
_______________________________________________________________________
Wimbledon Dolphins Swim Club originally started in 1998 and is
a young and actively developing club. We currently swim 3 evenings
a week, with sessions for both junior and senior swimmers. All
new swimmers will be assessed and will be placed in the group
most suited to their ability (rather than age).

Wimbledon
Dolphins became affiliated to the A.S.A. in 2002 which means that
we can participate in pre-arranged galas and open meets. All of
our coaches are A.S.A. qualified and they teach from the poolside.
Some of dolphin trained swimmers swim in open galas, at regional,
county and national level.
Our Aims
The
main aims of the club are to coach and encourage all swimmers
to improve their technique and stamina and to be able to make
progress both in terms of the distances swum and the times taken.
Swimmers are carefully monitored and their skills developed in
a friendly and supportive environment. There is a structured development
programmed with regular assessments and a related awards scheme.
We also aim to enter teams for galas from time to time to provide
members with experience of competition.
